Designers, manufacturers, importers, and installers of electronic systems must demonstrate that their products do not generate or suffer from electromagnetic interference (EMC). And this is not easy!
Really, it is difficult! Delays, unexpected costs, nerves and stress, or loss of image with a potential client, are some of the most important effects derived from non-compliance with the Electromagnetic Compatibility regulations. To avoid failing in EMC, it is critical to include EMC philosophy as soon as possible in the development stage of a product. But it is common to find companies where that strategy is not implemented as required. Let’s review what EMC is, why EMC is so difficult to comply, and how to minimize the risks of problems in this conference including real examples, technical information, and fun.
